Cedar Street Cinemas First Dollar

As a part of the recently implemented “First Dollar” program, representatives from the Schoolcraft County Economic Development Corporation presented the owners of Cedar Street Cinemas in Manistique a first dollar display.

Pictured from left to right are EDC Board Chairperson Don Erickson, Paul Gibbs, Toni St. Pierre, Debbe St. Pierre, Dennis St. Pierre, and EDC Executive Director Alan Barr. Barr noted that, “The EDC, and our entire community, is appreciative of the St. Pierre’s taking a risk and re-opening the movie theater. They have invested their own money and time to bring back a much-needed entertainment venue. Thank you.” The family has been longtime residents of Schoolcraft County.
