Cohesive Wellness receives STC ‘first dollar’

MANISTIQUE – Cohesive Wellness LLC opened for business earlier this year and recently received their first dollar from Schoolcraft Tourism and Commerce. Led by CEO, Allen Duyck, Cohesive Wellness helps clients discover their best ways to eat, move and thank.

With more than 35 years of experience in health and wellness, Duyck offers in-home sessions and workplace sessions for wellness planning. He also introduces craniosacral techniques, which he describes as light, sustained touches (pressure equal to about the weight of a nickel) applied to a fully clothed person in an effort to improve mobility.

This technique, mastered by Duyck, typically leads to a “deep feeling of relaxation and improved movement”.

For clients with longstanding mobility issues, Duyck estimates that six to 12 sessions may be needed.

He also offers instruction to client family members or friends in selected techniques.

Sessions within Schoolcraft County are currently at the grand opening rate of $60 per hour.
