Community Clean Up Recap

On Saturday, May 15th and Sunday, May 16th, Schoolcraft Tourism & Commerce teamed up with Manistique City Council for a community clean-up focusing on the Lighthouse Clubhouse Playground and parts of the Manistique Boardwalk.

Trash and litter were picked up, weeds and flower beds were trimmed, and lots of sand and rocks were shoveled off pathways for better usability of our parks and trails. The playground also received fresh coats of paint and we'll continue to host clean-up pop-ups until completed.

Thank you to the following volunteers for showing up and getting it done! This wouldn't have been possible without their hard work and dedication.

Another clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, May 22nd starting at 11:00am. Volunteers are instructed to meet at Lighthouse Clubhouse Playground to finish painting along with trash pick up, raking, and shoveling at the boardwalk.
