Follow the Winery Road

The Barkers made wine for family and friends for many years before deciding to create a commercial winery.

A “first dollar” was recently present to Robin, middle, and Jim Barker, right, owners of the End of the Road Winery in Germfask. The winery is located at the end of Burns Road in Germfask. The Barkers are producing several varieties of wine, including berry and traditional grape wines. They offer wine tasting as well. At left is Alan Barr, executive director of the Schoolcraft County Economic Development Corporation.
