As the pandemic continues to disrupt people’s everyday lives, access to mental health services and emotional support has never been more critical. New Beginnings Outpatient Therapy, which opened its doors in November 2020, is offering residents mental health help.
Licensed master’s level social workers and good friends, Kellie Campbell and Austin McDonough, said they took the leap into entrepreneurship because they saw the need for local therapy services.

Serving adults, families, couples, and/or teenagers while addressing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more, McDonough and Campbell say they want to be able to meet the needs of those who may be struggling.
Their new office is located at 601 E. Lakeshore Dr. Suite 102 in Manistique which offers an inviting and comfortable environment they say will surely make patients feel “right at home”.
For those not ready to leave their homes, telehealth services are available with Campbell or Mc- Donough.
New Beginnings Outpatient Therapy is also active on Facebook and Instagram, posting weekly doses of self-care tips, positive affirmations, live videos, and more. For those feeling “not quite like yourself these days or just need someone to talk to”, McDonough and Campbell say they are here to help.
